• 1 kg Gherkin (cabbage, pepper or other vegetables can be used instead))
• 2 Litters Glass Jar
• 1 Litter Brine (2.5 tablespoon rock salt is poured to 1 litter water, mixture is stirred, boiled and cooled down to room temperature)
• 1 head garlic
• Special probiotic pickle ferment
• 100 ml nature grape or apple vinegar (unpasteurized)
Let’s start to describe how to prepare pickles:
1 kg gherkin or other vegetables are washed, waited for 10 mins in the water with vinegar and rinse the vegetables lastly
Put vegetables into the glass jar, pour brine and pickle ferment into the jar
Add peeled garlic to the jar in this stage
Pour 100 ml homemade vinegar to the jar
Close the lid of the jar and store the jar for 7-10 days without touching it. Your probiotic pickles will be good to go after these 7-10 days duration.
